Hey, had some questions about the new Paint Shop paint.

i have a Ford Probe that im going to be painting with this paint. wanting to know more about it.
i have used the Dupli-color spraypaint for years on small parts, now im gonna try and paint the whole car myself.

how much of this stuff will i need to paint my car?
im gonna be going with the chrome yellow, are there any pics of this color?
for some reason i cant get the elearning how-to to work, so is there any place i can watch the video?

im sure if i follow the directions on the back i would be able to pull this off, but any tips would be greatly appreciated.

thanks.

Jrod, Good to hear that you plan on using the new Paint Shop system. It is a very easty to use system and is very user friendly. The e-learning video is much larger than any other video on this site so please give it plenty of time to load. I was able to pull it up today without any issues. Stacey David from the TV show GEARZ painted a fender using this color. He may have the video on the shows website. That is the only video that is out there using that color. I would suggest using about 25-30 psi when spraying. The label says 30-40 but stay on the lower end of the psi scale. From my experience with the product it seems to lay out nicer with lower pressure. I would suggest using some 400-600 gritt wet/dry sand paper in between the stages of paint to get the smoothest finish possible. If you sand through it is very easy to apply another coat. Make sure you use plenty of clear so you have enough to rub out. As far as the amount of paint you will need about 3-5 quarts of color and the same for the clear unless you want to add more clear. Good luck with your project.
