I took my motorcycle parts that are metal down to bare metal then I primed them. But I didn't use the Etching primer I used the regular sandable primer. Should I remove the primer I already sprayed and start all over with the etching primer?

for best results, i would remove what you have on and start with the etching primer. i did not use etching primer on bare metal on a few jobs and it held up great only if you spray the primer sealer over the primer. so, for the best results i would use etching on bare metal, then a high build primer, if there are small scratches that need fixed. then wet sand to even out the surface and then primer sealer. this worked great for me.
dupli-color specialist: correct me if i am wrong on this. this is what i have done on my car and it works and looks great.

Well using the self-etching primer is always a good way to start but it isn't going to make or break your job if you don't use it. Depending on how far along you are you can wetsand your current primer back off and start with the self-etch. If you are too far along then there is no need to worry about it.
