My 1968 Nova Project

almost there. everything is painted. now i am color sanding then clear coat is next.

nice work chris!! make sure you don't sand throught the paint. If you do it is easy to apply more coats. really lay down a lot of clear so you have plenty to work with when sanding and buffing.

Have you wet sanded it yet?

i will be wetsanding the whole car w/ 1500-2000 grit paper and then buffing. i plan on having it all buffed this weekend.

dont be shocked when i say this, but this was my first time! im serious, duplicolor paint shop is perfect for beginners. i had a few flaws in some areas, but little sanding and a little more spraying fixed it.

i still need to paint the hood and the whole car will be done. it's been way to hot here in missouri to do any painting. i will finish in the fall.
