Does your Hugger Orange suppose to match 1969 or 1999 GM Hugger Orange?
Thanks

So far it looks like the old 69 color. I have not clear coated it yet.

I just checked the color out and it seems to me to be a little more on the red side, maybe the clear will give it more of an orange hue.
Or maybe it's just me. :)

It is almost a perfect match to the Camaro Hugger Orange. I was also told by a Paint Shop user at SEMA that he had to do some touch up on his 69 Camaro and it matched perfectly. The clear coat does change the colors appearance just a bit as clears usually do.

DCS thanks for the info.
Oh ya I cleared the orange and it did take some of the red out, Hugger Orange it is. :)
Looks like the garage will be smelling like lacquer this weekend.

Would this be to aggresive of a polish to buff out 1500 scratches with a DA sander?
Thanks

For your guys info, I ended up going with Meguiars fine-cut cleaner followed by the machine glaze, all using my $29 Harbor freight rotary polisher. :)
I can't begin to tell you how many thumbs up and people saying nice car I have had since I painted my 69 Hugger Orange with White rally stripes.:D

Hey Kevin that sounds awesome! If you posted any pictures on here I can't see them due to Sherwin blocking them. I will have to log on at home to view. Good to hear about the positive feedback on the Paint Shop System.
