I am thinking of repainting my golf cart with an acrylic lacquer blue and have mirage painted flames. Can I use an acrylic lacquer clear coat to go over everything when i'm done? Do you have a lighter blue in the paint shop series than the blue you currently offer? What color Mirage painted flames do you recommend would look the best. I want it to stand out over the the other golf carts.

We currenlty don't offer a lighter blue although you can mix in a little of the Paint shop white. The white may or may not drowned out some of the metallic in the blue so lay some down on a test panel first. You can use an acrylic lacquer over top the Mirage Aerosol without any problems because it is a lacquer itself. Also the Paint Shop system will work with the Mirage system as well. I am going to suggest using the Purple/Green Mirage kit because from my experience using this it give the best color transition. Just make sure you lay down at least 4 full coats after the first light coat of color. This way you get the best transition. After that you can lay down your Paint Shop clear or clear lacquer of choice. Make sure you put enough clear down to wetsand smooth and buff. It will look sweet!
