Not too bad for a first time. Burned through the paint and need to recoat in some areas and the clear dried to quickly in other areas causing a crinkle finish.

The nice thing about Paint Shop is that you can recoat at any time so since you have burned through and have crinkling issues just wetsand with 1500 until smooth then recolor then clear.
The crunkle effect could be caused from a few things but most likely Paint Shop not agreeing with the paint underneith. What kinda paint did you top coat?

I painted over a 2K primer. Would that cause a problem? I thought the 2K expoxy primers were fine????

Also, something happened to the clear or maybe even the color coat. the finish was very rough and textured, like 80 grit sand paper. I had to sand it with 320. A friend who has some paint experience thought it dried too quickly. I did shoot it in the 85-90 degree range.
Another question. With the paint on I found some areas that need a little body filler. I'm using Rage and Evercoat Metal Glaze. Will that cause a problem?

Mustang, sorry for the late reply. Been busy over here. :D To answer your questions.
The cause of the rough clear finish is because you may be holding the gun too far away and moving too quickly. The clear should be laid down by holding the gun closer and moving it much slower than when you applied the color. The key is to let the clear flow so it levels out. Lacquer does dry fast so this is why you want to slow down on the clear.
You can apply Paint Shop over a 2k.
Using the metal glaze is fine as well just as long as you primer sealed over it or it might cause bleed through.
