The Jeep that was painted on "Truck U" on Speed TV. How many Qts of primer,

color, and clear did it take or how many do you think it would take including the

hard top?

Charles, Considering we painted that jeep 360 degrees around it took much more than your average paint job than if you were just painting the exterior sheet metal. I want to say that we used 7-8 quarts of color and 10+ on the clear just because of all that surface area. Assuming you are painting just the exterior I would suggest 3-4 quarts of color and 5-6 or even 6-7 quarts of clear to wet sand and buff. I am going to suggest 1-2 quarts of color for the hard top. Clear coat is up to you on the hard top since those typically have a satin finish.

There wasn't any how to stuff done on the Orange Jeep from Truck U. The only video that is available would have to be viewed when ever those shows air. If you follow the Ford Focus video on our website it shows everything step by step.
