Paint Usage

How many sq ft is 1 qt of the paint shop system supposed to cover. Just a guess but maybe @1.5 mil tk 50 ft sq. I'd like to estimate the usage so I can buy the correct amount of Primer, Main color, Clear. Espically the main color so all the qts can be mixed together prior to spraying it to ensure even color match. I know overspray is hard to judge but going blind and buying paint as a guess is not a good way to go. I want to paint a jeep cherokee 4 dr (like the one they did on Trucks TV. They said here is an $80.00 paint job. That doesn't seem possible judging by the amounts used by the folks on this website. Maybe $80.00 each for the primer, main, clear. Thanks for your help!:)

We don't estimate the square foot coverage on this paint because it varies on spray technique, air pressure and the substrate. Our standard rule of thumb is 3-4 quarts of color and clear for a small to midsize car. For your 4dr Cherokee you'll need 5-6 quarts of color and clear.
