I was wondering if it's ok to use Self Etch over Bondo. I've been all over the web and have seen conflicting answers.
Thanks, Phil

I am going to suggest our Primer Sealer over any body filler. #DAP1699 Self etch should be used over any bare metal areas. Thanks

Does that mean I need 2 primers?

NO! It means you need 3 primers. Now this is just my opinion....First due just as DC Specialist stated. Etching on bare metal and sealer on bondo. Then i would suggest using the high build primer over everything to allow for sanding out the low and high areas. It is easier to use different color primers so that when you sand through areas, you will see where the high spots are. You can always add more primer if you sand through to bare metal.

You can use the Self Etch over filler as well but the sealer would be best. When performing any type of body/paint work several primers are normally used as Chris states.
