Just Primed

I just finished priming my 68 GTO with PS primer, It is looking really good so far. I put one light and three heavy coats and wet sanded with 2000 grit between each heavy one.
The primer has suceeded at filling small imperfections, As I hoped it would.
Next Saturday I am going to try mixing black and red to get the shade of dark red that I want, And I am going to try to paint some areas black first so that I can get a "phantom" stripe look!

Sounds good so far. It is very important to take the time to wetsand between coats to make sure you get a smooth finish.

I have heard of people mixing this paint together to create different colors but have yet to see the results. Let us know how it turns out. Once your project is complete we can post your pics up in the success stories section as well.

Be careful mixing because it won't take much black to create a dark red paint.
