Body kit installation / adhession promoter

Will your duplicolor adhesion promoter hold double sided tape, or just paint?:confused:
I painted the kit it looks nice but i have to redo the 2 sided tape due to pre fitting it to make sure it was right for my car, I was told adhesion promoter on both sides of the tape to get a oem type bond once it drys.

kit - AP - * after it drys some* 2 sided tape * wait 24hrs to dry * - AP - * after it drys some * car?

As long as the ahdesion promoter is dry you can apply double sided tape to it. I would wait a good 24 hours before doing so.
