Touching up Paint Job

I have almost finished painting my 85 Fiero with performance Red. I took each panel off because on the fiero it is easy to do and it allowed me to get at door jams and such, and boy does it look great! Only problem is that the paint has chipped off in a few places. I painted it on a stretch of property that had a gravel road, and when i was done painting a panel id drive home, so this happend only because the paint was nicked while it only had been dry about 12 hours, the chip tolerance seems to get alot better the longer it drys.

So my question is, how to i touch up said chips? I really dont want to have to do the whole panel again. Each Panel got 3 coats of clear...what do you recommend?

Lacquer being a solvent dried paint will take some time to fully dry and will become more durable as time goes on. For touch up you can pour a small amount of paint out of the quart and let it dry up a little until it becomes a thicker and more brushable. Use a small brush to touch it up. If the chip is large then remove the body panel and wet sand to feather in the chip with 600 grit wet/dry sand paper. Reshoot the paint and reclear it. Paint shop doesn't have a recoat window so you can work on it at any time.
