I thought I was post my finished project. I have to admit painting is a lot more work than I thought it was going to be, but it was well worth it. I have a few more parts to customize on my bike, in particular I would like to put some hard bags on that are painted to match the rest of the bike.
The paint is done with Candy Orange, Black, and Yellow. There is a mid-coat of clear metallic on as well. I then sprayed several coats of the paint shop clear coat. Finally I put around 6-7 coats of a 2 part urethane clear coat (Finish1 clear) to protect the paint from gas spills. It probably needs some more buffing, but I was anxious to get it on the bike. I can always do more buffing now that it is put together.
