I've had a bad experience while useing duplicolor chrome and can't figure out the solution to my problem.
Hopefully someone here has come up with a work around and can share.
I resently used the chrome paint on the outter ring of a set of BMW wheels I was restoring and they looked fantastic. However when I sprayed on a clearcoat the chrome paint turned grey immediately. The chrome was enamel, so i also used an enamel clear.
After several attempts (I also used a heatgun to dry the chrome) I get same results. I even tried some of my more expensive clearcoat I use in a typical spray gun....same outcome.....grey!!@@!$#^%#
