Hi,
I'm new here and would like to know if the Paint Shop system is suitable for a Pontiac Fiero. The customer service representative said no. Wouldn't it be the same as painting the flexible bumpers on modern day cars?

My 86 Fiero was repainted several years ago by a previous owner. The clear coat is peeling badly. I'd like to change the color from Gold to white during this re-paint job. Door jambs and just about all other hidden surfaces are black and will not need to be repainted, just the plastic body panels.

Thanks

Paint Shop will work just fine for this job. steps for painting plastic:
1. clean surface w/ a wax and grease remover
2. scuff surface wiht sandpaper to help primer bonding
3. add a adhesion promoter to the primer then spray
4. add flex agent to the paint
5. clear last.

my question is are you stripping the old paint off first or painting over it?
