I'm planning on painting my cycle, and the paint shop paint looks to be really easy to use. My one concern at this point is how well it holds up to gas spills.

You can't fill a motorcycle gas tank without getting a little bit of gas splashed on the tank (or at least I can't) How well does the paint shop clear hold up to gas? Will gas dull the shine or worst "melt" the paint?

Can a 2 part urethane clear be put over the Paint Shop lacquer clear? Are there any recommendations for which urethane clear to use that would be OK to use for this?

Thanks,
Dan

Considering Paint Shop is a single stage air dried paint, gas will dull the finish a bit. As the paint hardens over time it will become more resistant to fuel. As long as you put plenty of clear over the base coat the shine can be easily buffed back. A standards urethane clear can be applied over the base coat if you would like to go that route.
