Hello, new guy here.
I've been on a project for about 6-7 months now, restoring a '78 Datsun 280Z. So far I have almost everything done and its going to be painting time soon. I'll likely be using the hugger orange product, and I'm looking to purchase a paint gun soon (just have to decide what type; gravity fed, HVLP, etc) that I'll be running off my 33 gal compressor. Looking through this forum a few times has certainly eased some of my concerns over the quality of the paint, and the results that can be achieved. I've never done this sort of thing before, so it will be a crash course, not to say that I'm going about it without thinking. I've done some research.
My biggest question is this: How will the Paint Shop products hold up on a urethane airdam? Unlike fiberglass, this thing is flexible, and made of a rubber-like substance. I'm wondering how well the paint will stick (with primer, of course), and also how well will it hold up on a flexible surface such as this?
