Painting Exterior chrome trim

I am trying to paint the factory chrome plastic mouldings on a new denali a gloss black. Has anyone ever done this?
If so what materials would hold up the best and what procedure should I follow

If you are painting over a chrome surface whether it is chromed plastic or metal you will want to scuff the surface down with Emery Cloth. Clean with our PS100 Prep Spray. After that Prime the surface with our FP101 Filler Primer to fill in any sanding scratches and then top coat.
