I have a gallon of Evercoat featherfill G2 primer surfacer that I planned on using and it says its compatible with all modern day topcoat surfaces but I just wanted to see if anyone here could confirm this before I use it. I got the primer for a really good deal and would like to use it if I can. Especially since its a high build and it would help me hide some of my my body work.

I am going to be painting over some bare steel and OEM white on a 1993 Jeep wrangler then a base coat of Paintshop in either red or deep blue cannot decide yet. Heck I may end up changing my mind ten times before paint day.

Thanks,

As long as Evercoat isn't Enamel then you are fine. Paint Shop is Lacquer and will lift when applying over Enamel. I would suggest trying this process on a separate piece of metal before spraying your Jeep.
