The paint is from Duplicolors automotive paint. Meijers had it on sale buy 1 get one 1/2 off. It took me about 7 hours to sand paint/clear coat the car and about another 4 so far sanding the clear and polishing the car.
My dad got in a fender bender while I was out of town which is why the fender is smashed. I replaced the fender right after it happened, but the cars paint was quickly falling apart. I decided that since I needed to paint the new fender, I should just go for an entire paint job.
I took the emblem off also, I plan on cleaning it up and then resticking it back on. I think it turned out pretty nice, hardly any orange peel. I used 2 coats of paint, 3 coats of clear on the front bumper, fenders and hood and two coats on the rest of the car. Let me know what you think.
This was my first paint job, I did the TSI after this car.
