Lacquer clearcoat usage.

Greetings from CO,

I have a quick question: I know that with 2K Lacquers, one must ''start and finish the job' within 48 hours for the best results. Ok, with the Dupli-color clear is that still true? If I have had to wait over two weeks to shoot another clear coat, should I not do so, or can I simply sand with 1500 and shoot another few coats?

I used the Duplicolor Paint Shop clear coat over a period of time and had no issues with it. If you do wait a while before spraying another coat, then yes, you do want to wet sand the first coat to remove any dust particals. Wet sanding between coats also helps with less orange peel to fill.
