Metal Specks & Mirage Paints

Hi all my question is Will Metal Specks and Mirage paints be compatible with Lexan or polycarbonate R/C bodies or will they harm them? Is there a special process to use these paints on Lexan or polycarbonates? Hope to hear back soon Thanks RON

Ron,

I want to apologize for not getting back to you sooner. You can use either product on your Lexan RC car body. Normally you paint these bodies from the inside and this would hold true using our paints as well. Mirage uses a black base coat first but when spraying a clear body you would use it last.
