Old school spoke motorcycle rims

Hello,

DIY painting is new to me. I've been doing my homework on the techniques involved but I would like some expert advice on how to repair the rims on my motorcycle. Each rim has a lot of spokes and the chrome on the rim is chipped. What steps should i take to remove the chrome (or cover it) and paint the rims with Dupli-Color Wheel Coating gray. Will i have to de-lace and lace the rims?

i think the answers we are looking for are in the windows config file windows is doing sumthing to change the settings in dosbox.
