Chunky,

Besides what people have posted on this site and whats posted on the Dupli-Color site I do not have any photographs of the colors themselves but can give you an idea of what they look like.

Black and White are your basic shades and you know what the clear is.

Hugger Orange is the Orange on the 1969 Camaro SS

Chrome Yellow is the same as the Yellow Vettes ranging from 1999-2004

Mineral Gray is a Metallic Graphite, extremely similar to our Graphite Wheel Paint

Brilliant Silver is a Metallic Silver, Similar to our Silver Wheel Paint

Deep Blue is a Metallic Blue, a very close match to the General Motors Indigo Blue used in 2002 code 9792

Performance Red is a standard Red close to the current Super Duty Ford Truck Vermillion Red Code E4.

I hope this helps.

Mustanger we currently don't have photo's of the Brilliant Silver Paint Shop and it looks like some of the members do not as well. The Brilliant Silver is a bright metallic silver which is probably a close match to the 2009 GM code WA636R Blade Silver Metallic.

How hard is it to get the metallics to lay flat. I hear that is a major problem when shooting metallic paints as "first-timer." I'm told Zebra strips show up if you don't know what you're doing. I already bought the Brilliant Silver, but may return it and go with the plain performance red. Any thoughts?

I'm not sure about the brilliant silver, but the candy base coat which is very much a metallic silver went on easy enough without any "zebra stripes"

Here are a couple more colors pics. The silver is the candy base coat. The orange is the Candy Orange, and the black is jet black. The image quality on these is pretty low since I took them with my phone. Also, they are not clear coated yet.

Looks good. How well does the metallic show through the candy orange? Kind of hard to tell from the pics.

The candy is pretty translucent. The amount that shows through really depends on the number of coats and how heavy the coats are.

When I finish I'll post better pics (the others were taken on my phone). I messed up a bit today, and now I have to wait for another can of paint to come in the mail before I can finish up.

Dan nice work!!! Great to see people using the Candies already. You are right about how many coats vs how transparent the color is. Nice job.
