I have this question that's been eating at me for awhile. Why is it that the fiberglass/plastics I paint to match my truck (Chrysler bright white PW-7) turn a kind of beige-y color in short order? Mind you this is just plastics, not metal parts and the plastics have been washed, sanded, prepped and primed using Duplicolor products. I've had tremendous success with Duplicolor products during the customization of my ride, but this drives me nuts. Any answers/remedies would be greatly appreciated.

maybe try using the primer sealer first before anything else. this will prevent any bleed through of any other previous colors.

A primer sealer would probably be your best bet as Chris has mentioned. It could be one of 2 things:
Color bleed through
The plastic itself changing the properties of the paint. Sometimes the chemicals in the plastic doesn't agree with the paint.
Thanks
