I'm wanting the grey primer look on my bike, but I want it to last and not stain easily. I have been told repeatedly that you can't clear coat primer, what about primer sealer? The entire bike has been done with Dupli-Color paints, semi-gloss black on the frame, high-temp black on the exhaust, wheels to soon be painted with high-temp aluminum, engine high-temp semi-gloss black with the fin edges sanded back to metal. What I would like to do is once I get done priming the tank and rear fender (currently getting final spot glaze) is to spray it with the darker grey Primer Sealer, then a couple coats of semi-gloss clear. Is this feasible, or do I need to find a flat grey paint? So far I haven't found a Dupli-Color flat grey, and I hate mixing paint brands, not to mention I prefer DC paint.

Hey ironhead, I apologize for missing your post. Your bike is probably completed by now...LOL. Anyway yes you can clear primer. You can clear almost anything. Appreciate the love of DC products.
