I am in the process of painting a motorcycle gas tank, tail and side covers. I have already prepped the tank and tailpiece with filler primer and sanded to a smooth surface with 600 grit wet/dry. I plan on shooting it with Duplicolor lacquer or enamel. I do not have a compressor so a rattle can is the only option. I plan to clear coat with epoxy enamel so the finish is hard and somewhat fuel proof. The only issue I have is finding a dealer for your products that has everything I need. Most of the stores carry limited items and most of them have been sprayed in the store by customers. Can you give me the names of dealers other than listed that carry a full line of your products? Also if you can offer any suggestions it would be greatly appreciated. :)

Hey there sorry for the late reply......long weekend. Well your plan sounds good. I would suggest an enamel base coat along with the epoxy clear coat however, I am not sure you will be able to find that in a rattle can. You might have to prepare the tank and shoot it with the base and take it to a body shop to have them shoot the clear to get that fuel resistance. We don't offer anything like that because that is a 2 part system(2k system).
click on this link which will bring you to the vedors who carry our products.
