Hello all
Question #1 I have used the duplicolor truck bed coating on a five dog truck box that I custom made for a customer, and was wondering if the duplicolor truck bed armor would be more durable.
Question #2
What should I be using if anything before spraying bedliner on new bare metal.

Hey there,

A: Either is very durable however Bed Armor is better performing over all including chipping and fading. Bed Armor however has a much different texture so I am not sure what your customer is looking for. The texture is more bold. If you do choose to use the Bed Armor it can be applied over the original Truck Bed coating and I suggest spraying the Bed Armor by using an under coating gun.
Question #2
What should I be using if anything before spraying bedliner on new bare metal.
A: You need to apply a primer. It doesn't have to be Dupli-Color branded but if you do use DC use our Self Etch Primer DAP1690.
