Mixing metallic clear...anyone try it???

I saw a thread on here where someone asked about mixing the PS metallic clear with a base color, has anyone tried this with any success? Actually I'm going to try it later today....on a spare hood I have. I'll let you know how it works.

You can mix Paint Shop together. Its all prereduced lacquer.
