Ok this is what I wanna do.

I want to paint the bike almost a chrome red look
or a dark cherry red

I am forced to use aerosol cans so I am trying to make this look the best I can

The fairings are ABS plastic and the tank is metal

I have been using 80 grit wet sand because i had to fix body damage which I am fixing with ABS "Sludge" (ABS plastic mixed with acetone to create a sludge when it evaps it will be just ABS plastic)

So my question is this. How do i create a chrome looking red?
Will the Clear Nite Lite paint show up on this rolor or will it be invisible till lights are put on it?
What are the next steps i should take.

If you want a chrome red you will need to start with chrome plating and use a candy red over it. The closest thing we have is our Paint Shop Candy System. It uses a highly metallic silver base coat with a translucent red top coat and you follow that up with a final clear. Check out the link:

Unfortunately you won't be able to use the NL100 Nite Lites over the Metalcast as NL is lacquer and MC is enamel. If you want to chance it you can apply extremely light coats, practically dustings. You will want to make sure the MC ground coat and red are dry for at least 2 weeks before applying the NL. You can then final clear coat with either our engine clear or wheel clear. Those are both enamels. After several coats of clear, let everything dry for a week then you can wet sand with 2000 grit paper and buff it all out.

I would suggest trying your project on another part to make sure everything works out.

When applying paint this is what you want to keep in mind:

Lacquer over Enamel will not work
Enamel over Lacquer will work

300 grit sand the plastic
Prime it with DAP1698 - Black Hot Rod Primer (want a dark red)
sand it again
Prime again
Sand...
Use CS101 - Chrome(leave this product out)
Sand...
MC100 - Ground Coat(only use this as the ground coat)
Sand...
MC200 - Red Anodized(let dry for two weeks)

NL100 - Clear(dust on very light)
more sanding
DAL1695 - Clear Lacquer(use DE1636 Engine Clear or HWP103 Wheel Clear)
...sand lightly(2000 git after two weeks dry time)
Buff
