Hey guys... lets start one!

I don't have much to start, but here is the carnage that resulted from a woman backing into me at a gas station while rushing out of the parking lot... yes there is more than one point of contact  ... but I am looking to have a little fun learning to paint on it. I am switching the color to a GM Dark Blue Metalic T164 I think it was from duplicolor, doing it piece at a time which I know is not a good idea, but I never have much more than an hour or two during that day to spare on this daily driver...

I'll post were I get this weekend and add my materials list, really more of a learning experience... it's not like I drive a Rolls :D. Post up whatever you're working on in the mean time!

She got you good... If it's a T164, then it's a Dupli-Color Truck, Van & SUV touch-up paint. Since you mentioned that this is for learning purposes, remember that the MOST important step in the painting process is PREP! Depending on the damage, you may need to sand the area and make sure that the surface is properly degreased/cleaned before painting. Lastly, you'll need a clear coat to cover the color coat. We suggest using the T125 Clear Coat, which was formulated to work with that T164 color.

Let us know how it goes!
