paint shop

i have a 1994 chevy truck with decent paint everywhere except primer hood. want to use paint shop to paint entire truck. do I need to sand entire truck or just scotch pad it(except hood). also what materials will i need to use, ie primers, paints and clears and how much of each. thanks

Wash and degrease the truck

Scuff the gloss off the entire truck

Degrease again

Prime with 4-6 quarts of Paint Shop Primer

Color coat with 4-6 quarts of Paint Shop

Clear 4-5 coats using 6-8 quarts of clear coat Paint Shop

Let dry for 36 hours

Wet sand with 1500-2000 grit and buff with 3M Perfect It
