I plan on mixing the ps paints when I paint my 53 Ford Customline. I plan on painting the rims the same color as the body and using the beauty rings and hub caps on the rims as well. How durable will the ps paint with clear be on the rims? Thanks for your help.

The clear lacquer can be used on the wheels. The heat generated from the brakes will also harden the clear. Considering your going to pound trim rings onto the rim you may want to use Sherwin Williams HPC15 urethane clear over the Paint Shop.
