I've got a 1983 Pontiac Trans Am "Daytona 500" pace car and it had 15" wheels/tires on it so I wanted to spice it up a bit. Found a local guy selling a set of 17x9 SLP wheels from a Firehawk for $300, so I bought 'em right away. They needed work, and I wanted to paint them to match the car (originally silver), so I bought some Dupli-Color white wheel paint.
Well I just got done with them and they turned out very well! I'm impressed with the Dupli-Color's wheel paint, but the Dupli-Color's wheel clear coat is a friggin joke! I forgot to take pictures of the one wheel with the clear coat. Not only did it yellow the wheel, but it was dull! The white paint itself had MUCH more gloss than the crappy clear coat did. So here's the pics I've taken over the last week:

A few more that I just took after I took the masking tape off...

And here's a few pictures of the car as it was with the 15" Monte Carlo SS wheels/tires:

I also used Dupli-Color's high-build primer and prep spray. Everything except the clear coat I was happy with. Now I just gotta get the wheels outside on a nice sunny day and let them bake in the sun, get the tires mounted/balanced and put on the car. Can't wait!
