I was thinking about spraying the chrome paint on some of the parts of my bike that I am restoring. However, I don't see a tutorial on using that product on the site. One thing I want to chrome is the fluid retainers on my handle bars. I think the tops of them are aluminum, but they are kind of cruddy and rough on the top. How should I go about spraying them with chrome? What should I do to prep them? Use sand paper? If so, what grit?
thanks

If these parts are aluminum I am going to suggest just sanding and then polishing them with an aluminum polish. If you choose to paint them then I would use our Cast Coat Aluminum Engine Paint DE1650. It will hold up a lot better for your needs.
