Downey,
Painting true leather is differenty than painting vinyl due to the oils found in leather. I do not know how real the leather is on the seats you are refinishing however prep will be the same as on vinyl. You will want to clean the seats extremely well using our Prep Spay PS100 or Prep Wipes PW100. You can use acetone there after to open up the pours of the leather as mentioned on TRUCKS. I would avoid scuffing the leather because the scratches may show through the paint. Apply the Vinyl and Fabric coating in light coats allowing about 15 minutes between coats. Apply as many coats until you achieve full complete coverage.
I hope this helps you.
Thanks for posting.

Greetings all,
Mark here from Johannesburg South Africa.
Does anyone have any tips on cleaning leather seats? My back seats are not looking good around the headrests. Anything I can use / do myself or should I just send it in for an interior valet lazy option
Thanks
Mark

Mark, there are companies out there the specialize in leather. Do a little research on the internet and I am sure you will find something.
